Israeli VAT without the jargon
Output VAT, input VAT, who has to register, and what the bi-monthly report actually asks for.

The fields a tax invoice has to carry in Israel, and the mistakes that get invoices sent back.
Why this site exists
Most accounting content is written to sell software before it explains anything. The guides here are written the other way around: what the rule is, what it means for a one-person business, and only then which tool removes the manual part. When software is the answer, the recommendation is stated plainly.
The tools on this site are demos. For issuing real documents with sequential numbering, a signed archive and Tax Authority allocation numbers, use invoicing software built for Israeli rules, for example Slate.
